Services
Screening Assessment - ages 6 to 8
1 hour £150*
This screening assessment is recommended for children aged 6 to 8 years who are experiencing literacy difficulties.
The screening evaluates:
• Vocabulary knowledge
• Phonological manipulation
• Real word and non-word reading
• Spelling
• Orthographic skills
This early identification screening helps to highlight if a child shows traits commonly associated with dyslexia. While it does not provide a full diagnosis, it offers valuable insights for children under 8 years old, supporting targeted development and intervention planning.
Following intervention and monitoring, the information gathered can be used to inform a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, especially if progress has been limited or slow.
Full Assessment - Ages 8-18
Face-to-Face
3-4 hours £495*
The assessment will provide either a positive or negative dyslexia diagnosis, but most importantly you will be able to use it to provide evidence for support in schools/universities. If the result is positive you can use it as evidence for applying for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). A 1-1 informal feedback session will be arranged with parents to discuss key findings and next steps. A Full Written Report and Recommendations will be sent as a PDF within 4 weeks of the assessment date.
